Red wine of high and undisputed prestige, obtained from a severe selection of Nebbiolo grapes.
The grapes come from the "Tumlin" vineyard of Tenuta Fratelli Povero, which extends over a hill in the Roero where the geological and climatic conditions are the most suitable for a very sensitive grape variety such as that of Nebbiolo.
After aging for 18 months in wooden barrels, Roero shows a beautiful bright ruby red, which acquires garnet hues with aging. The perfume, soft and delicately fragrant, becomes ethereal with time. The taste is dry, harmonious, with good persistence. Violet, raspberry, blackberry and almond are recognized. Served at a temperature around 18 ° it goes well with fondue, first courses (especially risotto) and roasted red meats.
